Dark brown reeded grip appears to be horn. Blade decorated with flowing acid etched foliate motifs with the central image on both sides being a {CROWN} over a highly stylized and intertwined "VR". Reverse blade etched in four lines C. WEBB/23/OLD BOND St/LONDON. The sword is accompanied by a gilt brass mounted leather scabbard with a shell motif frog hook.
