Edo-Period Japanese Wakizashi Blade in Saya
17.25" nagasa. 23.5" overall. Shinogi-zukuri blade with two hole nakago. Blade features a chu-kissaki, yakizume boshi, ihori mune, midare-togari hamon, and muji or itame hada. Blade is with a black lacquer wood saya and two piece gilt habaki. Item is without tsuka and tsuba fittings. Likely Edo-period.
