.38 S&W. 3.25" ribbed barrel. SN: 353051. Nickel plated refinish with reblued small parts mounting Smith & Wesson monogram hardrubber grips. Double action five-shot top break automatic-ejector revolver mounting pinned half-moon front blade and latch notch rear sights. Top of the barrel rib is marked SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A.PAT'D MAY 11 1880. JAN 3 1882. APRIL 9 1889. Right frame is struck with the Smith & Wesson monogram trade mark.
