Wm Malcolm Vintage Scope with End Caps
19x2.5x1". Blued finish to steel scope and mounts with the rear tube struck forward of the objective WM MALCOLM above serial number 3026. Item comes with lens protectors, and is fitted with a two-piece scope mount without base.
William Malcolm began manufacturing rifle scopes out of Syracuse, New York in 1855, and continued manufacturing various optical tools and devices until his death in 1890. The Malcolm Telescope Company continued to offer various improvements to the original design well into the 20th Century, and influenced the scopes later designed by J.W. Fecker, and J. Unertl.
