Lot Description
**Nambu Type 14
World War II
8x22mm Nambu. 4.61" barrel length. SN: 28215. Blued metal finish with straw colored small parts and polished bolt and interior surfaces mounting horizontally serrated wood grips and fixed rear notch with front blade sights. Short-recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item shows standard Type markings to the left frame with the right displaying a date mark of 9.9, indicating it was made in September, 1934. The serial number is preceded by the stacked cannonball marking of the Tokyo/Kokura Arsenal. Serial numbers match to most components but the grip panels, firing pin, and firing pin guide are not numbered. Comes with a non matching magazine.
