WWII-era Japanese Kai Gunto Katana
25" nagasa. 38" overall. Shinogi-zukuri machine made blade with single hole nakago that is marked with serial number 556. Blade features a chu-kissaki, komaru boshi, ihori mune, suguha hamon, and muji hada. Blade is with kai-gunto mounts including rayskin wrapped double hanger saya, gilt copper brass fittings, brass tsuba, two piece seppas, black ito, and black same. Saya is with brown sageo cord.
