Lot Description

Lot of Four English Bayonets including Enfield No 9MKI, 1907, and Three European Bayonets

1.) Lot of Three Pattern 1907 British bayonets with walnut grip scales and leather wrapped steel scabbards with leather frog to one of them. 17.2" blade lengths. 22.4" overall with scabbard and hilt. All blades show broad arrow marks and British inspection stamps.

2.) Cut Down Netherlands Model 1895 Carbine Bayonet. 11" blade length. 16.4" overall with sheath and hilt. Blued metal finish with walnut grip scales comes in leather sheath with riveted frog and belt loop numbered 2968. Blade of the bayonet is marked A{Scales}C, indicating it was made by Alexander Coppel of Solingen, Germany with the {Crown/L} mark opposite indicating it was inspected by Wiersma. Serial number to guard reads 601C.

3.) British Number 9 MK I pattern bayonet with scabbard. Bright blade with black Suncorite finish overall. Model mark on hilt reads NO9MK1/D-53. Item shows a broad arrow mark, and serial number PF366176.

4.) Belgian Model 1916-35 pattern bayonet. Straight double edged blued blade with walnut grip scales and blued hilt. Guard marked 2022.2.L. with B mark on the ricasso.

5.) Soviet Model 1891-30 bayonet with blued finish and rough wartime finish overall. 16.8" blade length. 19.75" overall. Item is unmarked.
