USMC NCO Sword Named to Virgil C Collins
28.6" blade length. 35.5" overall with scabbard and hilt. Curved single edged spearpoint stainless steel sword with etched designs to the blade, brass hilt, and wire wrapped leather grip. Left ricasso is marked with the etched manufacturer marking TRADE MARK/HILBORN/HAMBURGER/INC./NEW YORK/MADE IN/SOLINGEN/GERMANY with the right featuring a golden PROVED marking in a {Star of David}. Blade is adorned with banners enclosing UNITED STATES MARINES followed by the Revolutionary War flag above a shield with the seal of the United States Marine Corps. Blade is inscribed to Virgil C. Collins in Gothic script. Comes with a black leather wrapped scabbard with brass throat and drag.
