.45-70 Government. 27.25" barrel. SN: (In Arabic) but appears to translate to 4922. Blued metal finish that has mostly turned to a mottled brown patina overall. Straight grip walnut stock and forearm with two barrel bands. Possibly cut down at some point. Single shot rolling block rifle with adjustable notch rear sight and no front sight. Item features a bayonet lug to right of barrel, a single sling swivel, and a slotted head cleaning rod. Most of original Remington markings have been buffed, with Arabic numbers stamped to top of barrel behind rear sight.
