Lot of Two Antique Handguns: American Arms O&U Derringer and Forehand & Wadsworth Revolver
1.) American Arms Over & Under Double Barrel Derringer. .22RF & .32RF. 2.875" barrels. SN: 3435. Brown patina to steel components with brass frame mounting varnished rosewood grips and German Silver front blade sights to both barrels. Hand indexed two-shot Derringer pistol with single action hammer and featuring fluted barrels. Marked in a single line over the .32 barrel AMERICAN ARMS CO. BOSTON. MASS, and over the .22 barrel WHEELER'S PAT. OCT. 31. 1865-JUNE, 19. 1866.
2.) Forehand & Wadsworth Sidehammer Revolver. .22RF. 2.375" octagonal barrel. SN: 34792. Nickel plated refinish overall mounting varnished rosewood grips with sidehammer revolver mounting octagonal barrel with hemispherical front blade sight. Single action seven-shot cartridge revolver with spur hammer and birdshead grip. Left barrel is marked FOREHAND & WADSWORTH WORCESTER. MASS/PAT'S SEPT. 24 & OCT. 22. 1861.
