The group includes 8 dug US box plates with varying amounts of their wire loops remaining, 1 dug US puppy paw plate with studs, 5 dug US breast plates with varying amounts of the wire loops remaining, a Confederate fame buckle measuring 2.9"x2.52" and a sash buckle and two coin buttons. Most of the plates have old notes about where they were recovered with most being from the Wilderness battlefield area in between 1973 and 1979.
