Markings include N.J. and STEEL to left of barrel, with 1862 date and V/P marks to top of barrel. Lock is marked with three line U.S./COLT P.t F.A. Mfg. Co./HARTFORD, Ct markings to center and an 1862 date to tail. Eagle marked to bolster. Stock is marked N.J. on left side.
