Lot Description
Lot of Four 19th Century English, French & Belgian Pocket Pistols
1.) .45 Cal. 4" barrel length. SN: NSN. Metal finished in the white with walnut stocks mounting iron fittings, a wood ramrod, and a cannon barrel. Single shot flintlock pistol with octagonal to round barrel and unmarked lockplate. Item comes with a modern flint.
2.) .45 Cal. 3" barrel length. SN: NSN. Brass barreled with iron lockwork and varnished walnut bag shaped grips and no iron sights. Single shot boxlock flintlock pistol with cannon barrel and safety latch to pan. Item shows some light engraved embellishments to the lock. Comes with flint.
3.) .45 Cal. 3" barrel length. SN: NSN. Bright metal finish with spiral scroll engraved lockplate and light border scroll mounting varnished bag shaped grips with octagonal barrel and no sights. Single shot flintlock turn-off pistol displaying Belgian proof marks on the left frame, and some scattered light pitting. Mounts an unsigned German Silver escutcheon to the backstrap.
4.) .45 Cal. 3.5" barrel length. SN: 33. Buffed brass barrel and lockplate with iron hammer and small parts mounting checkered walnut bag shaped grips. Item shows floral engraving on the flanks of the frame, an octagonal barrel with cannon muzzle, and boxlock action. Left barrel displays Belgian proof marks and GP initials.
