Single action percussion revolver with six-chambered round cylinder, hammer nose notch rear sight and German silver cone front sight. Barrel with one-line Hartford address, standard frame markings, roll engraved Naval battle scene on cylinder, matching serial numbers throughout including wedge and grip. Contained in an old wooden box redesigned to serve as an ersatz gun case, and includes a modern nipple wrench and some cleaning patches.
