Lot Description
*Croatian PHP MV-9 Pistol
9mm Para. 4.1" barrel length. SN: 10979. Blued metal finish overall with plum blued hammer and mounting black synthetic grips with pebble texturing. Short recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable double-stack magazines. Item mounts fixed rear notch and front blade sights with a safety lever to the left frame. Item is struck with the IMP logo followed by made in CROATIA on the right slide. Left side displays model marking PHP MV above the importer mark C.A.I. GEORGIA VT. Comes with one magazine. The MV-9 was the first handgun produced in independent Croatia amidst the breakup of Yugoslavia during the 1990s. The handgun is based primarily upon the venerable Walther P.38 modified to take double stack magazines and utilize a third recoil spring located beneath the barrel.
