Item features wiggle line and spiral scrollwork along the edges of the frame enclosing floral engraving. Manufacturer marks to the left barrel read BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS MO & MONTREAL P.Q./SPECIAL STEEL-12 GA.-SHELLS 2 3/4". Right frame struck with patent mark and MADE IN BELGIUM. Underside of the frame is marked Lightning/BROWNING. Serial numbers match to barrels, frame, and forend. Item displays Belgian proof markings to the interior of the components, and choke markings on the barrels of * to the upper barrel and *- to the lower, indicating the chokes have been changed since production, and the barrels cut down. Forward face of the barrel rib is in the white with visible seam where it connects to the forward most rib. Replacement Pachmayr White Line recoil pad is installed.
