Left receiver is marked No.5.Mk.I. with the rear receiver ring marked on the left side M/47C/1945, indicating it was made by BSA in 1945. Receiver and barrel both display the lightening cuts indicative of the No 5 Jungle carbine. Rear barrel shows a second M47C marking, a third on the forend behind the barrel band, and scattered {Broad Arrow} marks are struck into various components. Serial numbers match on the receiver, forend, and bolt handle. Importer mark to the right receiver reads 303 cal ENG/E-W ML/FRASER MI. Comes with a 1948 dated and broad arrow proofed canvas sling.
