Manufacturer markings to the breech octagonal include the maker TERNI to the top, serial number to the left, and a date mark of 17, indicating the rifle was made in 1917. Further markings to the left stock include a stamp to the left receiver reading OFF. COST. ART/ROMA/RIPARAZIONE with a date of 1926, indicating the rifle was rebuilt in 1926. Stock serial number has been force matched to the rifle.
