Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle utilizing the Mauser style action with the addition of a sliding dustcover. Receiver is marked with the {Siamese Crest}, and further shows scattered Thai inspection stamps. Left receiver struck with the {Stacked Cannonball} logo of the Japanese Koshikawa Arsenal. Rear sight shows the cut through range markings indicating the weapon was converted from the Type 46 to use the later 8x52mm ammunition. Stock is void of tools.
