**Refurbished U.S. Springfield Model 1903 with 1913-Dated Barrel
World War I
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 568138. Parkerized grey finish and a blued metal buttplate. Walnut S stock has a plain straight grip and forearm, with handguard and single barrel band. Bolt action rifle with adjustable folding ladder notch rear sight and blade front sight. Item features an internal magazine, bayonet lug forend, triple stacking sling swivels, and a trapdoor buttplate void of contents. Markings include U.S/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/568138 to receiver, and S A/{flaming bomb}/11-13 to top of barrel. Stock is marked with a faint boxed F.J.A. Frank J. Atwood inspector cartouche on left side, and a faint circle P proof to bottom of grip. Includes a brown M1907 leather sling.
