Lot Description

**Italian Carcano-Arisaka Type I Bolt-Action Rifle

6.5x50mm. 31.4" barrel length. SN: K2162. Blued metal finish with polished bolt body mounting a Walnut semi-pistol grip stock with spliced toe and half length upper handguard. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle utilizing a Carcano pattern action with a Japanese Type 38 style magazine and furnishings produced for Imperial Japan by Italy. Rifle shows few markings with the bolt handle struck PB, indicating it was likely made by Pietro Beretta. Left barrel is further marked with a weak Italian manufacture marking.
