Item features the {Crown/N} commercial proof on the right barrel at the muzzle, right chamber, and on the right slide. Left barrel is etched with the marking Nichtrostend between two arrows. Left slide struck with the standard markings including WALTHER BANNER followed by Waffenfabrik Walther Zella Mehlis (Thur)/Walther's Patent Cal. 7,65 m/m Mod. PP. Comes with one WALTHER banner marked magazine. Walther offered their Nichtrostend or "Rustproof" stainless steel barrels as a special order option on pre-war PP series handguns. Such barrels are seldom encountered, and often retain fine bores, as does this example.
