Lot of 4 French Bayonets Including: M1866, M1874, M1886, and M1892
1.) French Model 1866 Chassepot Bayonet by St. Etienne - SN: S83967. 22.625" semi-Yataghan blade, 27.325" in overall length. Dated 1870 on spine. Iron guard with hooked quillon, brass hilt steel scabbard numbered to a different bayonet.
2.) French Model 1874 Gras Rifle Bayonet by L Deny - SN: 91893. 20.5" tapered blade with T-shaped spine, 25.5" overall. Dated 1878 on the spine. Iron guard with hooked quillon, wood and brass hilt. Steel scabbard with matching serial number.
3.) French Model 1886 Lebel Bayonet - SN: 30435. 20.325" cruciform blade. Hooked quillon, aluminum grip. No scabbard present.
4.) French Model 1892 Berthier Rifle Bayonet - SN: 87910. 15.325" fullered blued blade, 20.125" overall. Shortened quillon on guard, two piece wood grips. Steel scabbard with matching number.
