Meiji/Taisho Period (1868-1912)
Signed Saida Kozo saku, of swelling ovoid form with a short everted neck, the body patinated to simulate reddish-brown iron, inlaid in gold, silver, copper shakudo, and shibuichi with swallows flying past bamboos and chrysanthemums. With incised signature and gold inlaid seal Jyunkyo-do to the side, underside with cast mark Jyunkyo-do.
