清中晚期 緙絲武官補子四幅
19th Century
Comprising a panther badge, Daoguang period (1821-1850), a bear badge, a leopard badge and a xiezhi badge, Tongzhi period (1862-1874). Each is woven with a beast in the center reserved on a gold ground embellished with blue clouds and auspicious symbols, shown facing the sun as it alights on a rock amongst foaming waves.
Largest 11 1/4 x 12 in., 28.6 x 30.5 cm.
