A Massive Chinese Blue and White Porcelain 'Dragon' Charger, Late 19th Century
清晚期 青花雙龍戲珠紋大盤
Late 19th Century

The shallow rounded sides resting on a short foot, painted to the interior with two five-clawed dragons contesting a flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls and flame wisps, additional dragons emerging from the wave border, underside with two additional dragons chasing a flaming pearl, apocryphal six-character Qianlong seal mark.
Diameter 24 1/4 in., 61.5 cm.
