**U.S. Springfield Model 1922MI Sporterized and Converted to .22 Hornet with Griffin & Howe Mount and Hensoldt Telescopic Sight
.22 Hornet. 24" barrel length. SN: 19543. Blued metal finish. Fancy walnut stock has checkering to semi pistol grip and forearm, with ebony inlays to forend, scalloped grip, and sides of forearm. Bolt action rifle with a Hensoldt-Wetzler 4x scope and globe post front sight with stippled ramp and changeable insert. Item features a Griffin & Howe quick detach scope mount, stippled bolt handle, internal magazine, double sling swivels, and a rubber recoil pad. Barrel only has .22 HORNET marks and is drilled and tapped for a rear sight. Other markings include U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/M1922MI/19543 to receiver.
