Semi automatic rifle with type III stamped metal peep rear sight and blade front sight with ear protectors. Item features a type III bayonet lug forend, M marked push release, removable magazine, and a rotary safety. Markings include I.B.M. CORP./3958119 to rear of receiver, U.S. RIFLE/CAL.30 M1 to front of receiver, and I.B.M. CORP. to top of barrel. Stock is only stamped with horizontal 668 and vertical 206 marks to bottom of forearm. Stock does not appear to have any arsenal rebuild marks or proofs. Item is without the stock oiler and sling.
