Revolver mounts a pinned barrel on a three screw frame. Right sideplate is struck with the {Seal of the Ohio State Highway Patrol} surrounded by a wreath with the dates 1933 and 1973 along with the marking 40th/ANNIVERSARY. Backstrap is struck HP 541. Standard make and model markings include the Smith & Wesson monogram trade mark to the left frame and four-line address to the right. Comes in a wood presentation case with blue velvet lining. Lid has been pressed with the 40th Anniversary seal and Smith & Wesson's trademark. Item lacks key for lockplate.
