**Pre-64 Transitional Winchester Model 70 with Lyman Alaskan Scope and Griffin & Howe Side Mount
Manufactured 1947
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 74292. Blued metal finish. Walnut stock has checkering to semi pistol grip and forearm. Bolt action rifle with adjustable Lyman 48 WJS rear peep sight, stippled ramp blade front sight, and Lyman Alaskan scope on a Griffin & Howe quick release side mount. There is a dovetail blank in place of the barrel rear sight. Item features an internal box magazine, cloverleaf tang, checkered steel buttplate, and double sling swivels. This item is a post-war transitional model most likely manufactured in 1947.
