1862 Production Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver
.44 caliber. 8" barrel. SN: 34513 (mfg. ca.1862). Blued and color casehardened finish, brass triggerguard, one-piece varnished walnut grip. Single action percussion revolver with four-screw frame cut for shoulder stock with 6-chambered round rebated cylinder. Hammer nose notch rear sight, German silver blade front sight. One-line New York address on barrel, two-line patent mark on frame. Visible numbers match, including the wedge, with the exception of the cylinder which has no visible markings. Revolver has been refinished and no cylinder scene remains.
