Barrel with post-1813 Birmingham proof marks. Typical trade gun features include a three-screw brass serpent side plate, an oversized iron triggerguard, flat brass butt plate, simple forend reinforcement and corrugated ramrod pipes. Butt previously decorated with brass tacks that are now missing, leaving their impressions and a combination of square and round shank holes. Includes a wood ramrod.
