Northern Plains Beaded Hide Vest, with Boy Scout Imagery
thread and sinew-sewn; beaded using a variety of colorful glass beads; chest embellished with the Boy Scout's crest of fleur-de-lis, a U.S. shield, and eagle; below illustrates the Scout's oath with a cross (God), American flag (Country), and scout hat (Scout's Oath); hide thong ties terminate with elk teeth, walrus ivory buttons with circle and dot design, and serrated shark's teeth topped with copper cap
