Sioux Beaded Hide Tobacco Bag
sinew-sewn and beaded using colors of white, red white-heart, cobalt, pea green, and cut brass; throat of bag and fringe coated with yellow pigment

This tobacco bag is nearly identical to one in a 1907 photograph taken of three Brule Tribal members. The photograph was taken by Perry Petrik and can be viewed through the South Dakota Digital Archives: (2015-01-30-313).
