William Henry Harrison 1840 Campaign Illustrated Band Box Lid
Band box lid, 12.25 x 17 in., wonderfully polychrome decorated with log cabin, cider barrel, US flag and an image of Harrison greeting a uniformed disabled veteran of the Indian War who is on a peg leg with crutch, his dog behind. In the background is a steamboat on river with name "Ohio," hills in background with rising sun taken from the Ohio State Seal. From the 1840 Presidential campaign.
