(vi), 330 pp. Full contemporary paneled tan calf, red and black morocco spine labels, stamped in blind and in gilt, boards and extremities rubbed and worn, scattered gouges in front and rear boards, red speckled edges; book-plate of John Rolle, 1st Baron Rolle of Stevenstone (1750-1842) on front paste-down, with his signature above same; intermittent minor spotting to text.

Baron Rolle was a British politician and peer who served as a Member of Parliament, was a supporter of William Pitt the Younger, and the target of the British satire The Rolliad.
