Illustrated with frontispiece of English Royal arms, possibly inserted at front. First edition of Jacob Tonson's influential verse miscellanies, published under the supervision of John Dryden, with some contributions from him and others. Features new translations of Virgil's Ecolgues, Ovid's Love Elegies, the Odes of Horace, and more. Dryden and Tonson would together publish an additional five miscellanies by 1709.
