Partially-printed document on vellum, signed by Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware, Thomas McKean, as Governor of Pennsylvania, granting Henry Miller a tract of land, “Emsworth”, in Penn Township, Northampton County; counter-signed by James Trimble as Deputy Secretary. Printed by Francis & Robert Bailey. 11 x 20 in. (279 x 508 mm). Manuscript docket on verso, and additionally certified by engrosser of the Declaration of Independence, Timothy Matlack, to same. Three paper seals intact, in top left, and verso corners, some tips creased. Creasing from old folds. In mat with an engraved portrait of McKean and in frame, 21 1/8 x 38 7/8 in. (536 x 987 mm). A handsome land grant signed by Founding Father, Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Delaware, and second Governor of Pennsylvania, Thomas McKean (1734-1817).
