A group of three silver marrow scoops / spoons, two of New York historical interest, William Garret Forbes (1751-1840), George W. Welsh (active c. 1850s), New York, NY, and maker "JM," late 18th to mid-19th century
Comprising a double-side marrow scoop / spoon, by William Garret Forbes, with drop to bowl back, engraved to large bowl, “Marrow spoon owned by Henry Cruger/ Mayor of Bristol 1781," marked; a double-sided marrow scoop / spoon, by George W. Welsh, with drop to bowl back, engraved to large bowl, “Marrow spoon owned by Wm. C. Rhinelander, 1850,” engraved to handle with monogram and date, “R 1850,” marked; and a double sided marrow scoop / spoon, by maker “JW,” marked.
