Lot Description
Comprising a small covered coin silver pitcher, by Canfield Bros. & Co., circa 1870, or the partnership between Ira C. Canfield (1808-1879), William Buckingham Canfield, T. Welsh, and J.R. Arminger, with scrolled branch-form handle and decorated with repoussé grapevine, on footed base, engraved with monogram, “GB,” marked to underside; a sterling silver covered sugar bowl by Reed & Barton, circa 1890s, with scalloped rim and base, lid with finial, two scrolled handles, and decorated with repoussé floral motifs, engraved with monogram, “W,” marked to underside; and footed coin silver bowl by Gelston & Co., circa 1837-1838, decorated with repoussé c-scrolls, flowers, and rocaille motifs, scrolled feet, with cartouche surrounding engraved armorial crest with motto, “Deo Duce Persever and Um,” marked to underside.
