A Chippendale carved and inlaid walnut tall case clock, works by Samuel Breneisen (1772-1837), Reading, PA, late 18th century
The painted dial inscribed, "Sam. Breniesen/ Reading," hood with carved rosettes and inlaid centered finial bracket, shell-carved and “tulip” inlaid waist door, applied shaped base panel, fluted quarter columns to waist and base sections, shaped bracket feet.
