Lot Description
A set of two Victorian brooches circa 1900, including a silver-topped 14K rose gold brooch also functioning as a pendant, designed as a moon and star and set throughout with rose-cut and old European-cut diamonds, near colorless to very light yellow (H - N), with SI - I clarity, and a silver-topped 14K yellow gold bar pin set with round brilliant-cut and rose cut diamonds, near colorless (G - J), with SI - I clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 1.65 carats.

Moon Brooch: Significant scratches and wear consistent with age, clasp in working order, stamped “56”, testing as silver-topped 14K rose gold, set with twenty-five rose-cut and old European-cut diamonds measuring from approximately 1.00mm at the smallest to approximately 4.00mm at the largest, near colorless to very light yellow (H – N), with SI – I clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 1.00 carat.
Bar Pin: Significant scratches and wear consistent with age, clasp in working order, stamped “KK” with other maker’s marks, testing as silver-topped 14K yellow gold, set with nineteen round brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds measuring from approximately 0.85mm at the smallest to approximately 4.48mm at the largest, near colorless (G – J), with SI – I clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 0.65 carats.
