Lot Description
A set of two jade brooches, one crafted from 14K yellow gold and designed as a caterpillar, with a body comprised of smooth pear-shape jade and antenna topped with round-cut pink spinel, and one crafted from 14K yellow gold and designed as a butterfly, with carved jade wings and body, antenna topped with round-cut pink spinel, and spinel and round brilliant-cut diamonds accents on the body. Diamonds are near colorless (G – J), with SI – I clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 0.12 carats.

Caterpillar: Light scratches and wear to metal, stamped “H.K. 14K”, clasp in working order, set with seven pear-shape jade each measuring approximately 6.60mm x 8.60mm, and two round-cut pink spinel each measuring approximately 2.23mm.
Butterfly: Some scratches and wear to metal, some glue visible on the back of the brooch, stamped “14KAU”, clasp in working order, set with two carved jade wings each measuring approximately 17.14mm x 25.32mm, two oval-cut jade each measuring approximately 8.00mm x 11.80mm, five round-cut pink spinel each measuring approximately 2.30mm, and four round brilliant-cut diamonds each measuring approximately 2.10mm, near colorless (G – J), with SI – I clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 0.12 carats.
