Lot Description
A collection of yellow gold and gemstone brooches, including two matching 14K yellow gold brooches designed as fish crafted from green and yellow jadeite respectively, a 14K yellow gold brooch designed as a leaf crafted from greenish enamel and centering a round-cut faceted garnet, a 14K yellow gold and enamel brooch designed as a bug whose body is comprised of an oval cabochon turquoise, and a 14K yellow gold cat brooch set with an oval cabochon turquoise and two round-cut red glass stones as eyes.

Please note that all information provided such as weight, grade, color, and clarity are approximate and the opinion of the Jewelry Department of Freeman's. All gemstones were measured and graded in their settings unless otherwise noted.
Fish Brooches: Each measures approximately 1in x 9/16in, scratches and wear, metal not stamped, both testing as 14K, clasps in working order, one set with a carved green jadeite, the other set with a carved yellow jadeite, each measuring approximately 11.80mm x 25.00mm.
Leaf Brooch: Measures approximately 1 1/2in x 1 1/4in, significant scratches and wear, significant enamel loss, clasp in working order, stamped “14K SHG”, set with one round-cut faceted garnet measuring approximately 7.15mm.
Bug Brooch: Measures approximately 1 1/8in x 1 1/8in, scratches and wear, minor enamel loss, stamped “HK 14K”, clasp in working order, set with an oval cabochon turquoise measuring approximately 10.20mm x 13.40mm.
Cat Brooch: Measures approximately 3/4in x 7/8in, scratches and wear, one significant chip to turquoise, stamped “14K”, clasp in working order, set with an oval cabochon turquoise measuring approximately 12.80mm x 19.27mm, and two round-cut red glass stones.
