Lot Description
Two modernist brooches, including an 18K Italian yellow gold brooch designed as leaf fronts and set with cabochon lapis lazuli, and an 18K yellow gold textured flower brooch also functioning as a pendant with petals crafted from twisted rope-like yellow gold, centering a cluster of round-cut sapphires and round brilliant-cut diamonds. Diamonds are near colorless (G – J), with VS – SI clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 1.10 carats.

Lapis Brooch: Minor scratches and wear to metal, stamped “18K ITALY”, clasp in working order, set with twenty-eight cabochon lapis lazuli stones measuring from approximately 1.55mm at the smallest to approximately 2.85mm at the largest.
Flower Brooch: Minor scratches and wear to metal, clasp in working order, metal not stamped, testing as 18K, set with twenty-nine round-cut sapphires measuring from approximately 2.35mm at the smallest to approximately 3.25mm at the largest, and seven round brilliant-cut diamonds measuring from approximately 3.30mm at the smallest to approximately 3.60mm at the largest, near colorless (G – J), with VS – SI clarity. Total estimated weight of diamonds: 1.10 carats.
