Oxford: Printed at the Clarendon Press, 1771. The Third Edition. 4to. (iv), 353, (iii), lxxx, (19), (1) pp. With an engraved table and illustrated with engraved tail-pieces. Full contemporary tan calf, rebacked with original red and black morocco spine labels laid down, stamped in gilt, boards and extremities rubbed and scratched; all edges trimmed; marbled endpapers; pale foxing to title-page; scattered minor spotting to text; small contemporary armorial private library shelving label in top corner of front paste-down. Third and final edition of this collection of works, all revised, including "An Analysis of the Laws of England," "An Essay on Collateral Consanguity," "Considerations on the Question, Whether Tenants...Are Freeholders Qualified to Vote in Elections for Knights of the Shire," "Observations on the Oxford Press," and the "Great Charter and Charter of the Forest," etc.

Modern three-quarter speckled brown calf over marbled paper-covered boards, brown leather spine label, stamped in blind and in gilt; all edges trimmed; ink stain in bottom of pp. 474-475 in first volume, affecting some notes; light to moderate foxing in each volume. Inscription on title-page of each volume, "Jn Rowe Junr 25th Dec.-1786", with Rowe's signature on half-title in first volume, and with "John Rowe" on front blank in first and third volumes in two different hands.
