No place, ca. 1974. Limited edition doll, #22/50 numbered examples, signed by Gorey on scarf-sewn label. Approximately 13 x 7 in. (330 x 178 mm), although Toledano erroneously calls for and 18-inch height. An extraordinarily faithful reproduction of the bird-like character from Gorey's book of the same name. Gray body, white and green scarf, with white leather boots. Publisher's original box, with illustrated label. Lot also includes a signed 1978 reissue of The Doubtful Guest. Toledano p. 156
