A large Chinese "Langyao" copper red-glazed baluster vase, Kangxi period 郎窯紅觀音瓶 清 康熙
Of elegant attenuated form, with cylindrical neck and slightly flared lip, over a swelling shoulder, above a waisted base and flared foot, the vibrant glaze the color of crushed strawberries, draining from the neck to a pale celadon tone with fine crackle, a similar pale celadon tone to the underside of the foot
