Lot Description
A Chippendale style mahogany high chest 19th century
In the style of an 18th-century Philadelphia form, in two parts, the upper section with broken arch pediment with carved rosettes and three urn and flame finials, carved shell and foliage over three short drawers, over four graduated long drawers, with quarter columns, the lower section with waist molding, over long drawer, over three short drawers, the center with carved shell and foliage, quarter columns, shaped apron with carved shell and scrolls, on cabriole legs with shell-carved knees ending in ball-and-claw feet.
