A collection of 23 issues of this important early 20th-century Dutch art and architectural journal. Founded by Hendricus Theodorus Wijdeveld in Amsterdam in January 1918, the publication was issued monthly and served as a mouthpiece for the loose group of architects and designers known as the Amsterdam School. It is remembered for its striking typography and eclectic themes, covering a wide range of subjects from architecture, design, decorative arts, and expressionism, and featuring work by notable figures such as Frank Lloyd Wright, El Lissitzky, Diego Rivera, Gustav Klimt, Eileen Gray, and many others.
